WITH LOVE MARKET + CAFE CASE STUDY#3
RE-BRANDING A NEIGHBORHOOD SOCIAL ENTERPRISE:
How to launch a vegan-themed night market, with love.
Social signals revealed that With Love Market & Cafe, a social enterprise in South Los Angeles had a strategic advantage among the local vegan community for being one of the few markets in the area that served vegan options. As the "top-rated" vegan market in their zip code, With Love sought to capitalize on the opportunity to cement its brand among this active community.
Social Mediums along with Smart Stop, a vegan-themed convenience store concept, devised a night market to help unofficially and officially re-brand the market as a vegan-friendly store - complete with an array of plant-based grocery items and hot foods. VNO (Vegan Night Out) was a first-of-its-kind vegan night market in South Los Angeles. The event featured over seven vendors and welcomed a significant batch of new customers; mainly attracted to the Market's vegan grocery options and social mission.

We played with different names until we settled with HeartWorkLA. Next, we presented our concept and within a year or so the idea officially launched to fruition – open to the public.
